Announcement R&D Training to Korean Pharm & Biotech Industries, KDRA, Seoul, Korea, 13-15 June 2011

Kinesis Pharma, in collaboration with the Korean Drug Research Association (KDRA), will organize a 2-days course in Drug Development for the Korean Pharmaceutical  & Biotech Industry. The course will be followed by 2 days of consulting and will take place in Seoul, Korea, from June 13-17, 2011. The course is supported by the Korean Ministry of Health & Welfare, Korea Health Industry Development Institute (KHIDI) and SCH BioPharm Human Resources Development Center.

The course will guide the participant through the drug development process from discovery up to filing, with focus on early drug development. The following topics will be discussed: Discovery and Late-lead Optimization, Non-Clinical Development, Pharmaceutical Development, Bridging Non-Clinical to Clinical Development, Early Clinical Development/Phase I and Pharmacokinetics, Regulatory, Biopharmaceuticals: Key Differences with Small Molecules, and Project Management.

Course leaders will be Ms. Annemiek Stijnen, PhD, Director CMC, and Ms. Patricia Baede, MSc, Director Regulatory Affairs from the headquarters in Breda, The Netherlands, and Mr Kees Bol, PhD, General Manager of the regional office in Singapore.
